Praying For Your Church

Revival ... Often times, great awakenings begin with just a few praying people who invite others to join them.

What might happen if the people of today’s church began praying in earnest for our churches and church leaders?

In “Praying For Revival” we learned that the much needed revival of our churches begins with personal revival within each of our own hearts. Once that type of soul deep individual revival occurs, it can’t help but spill out and into our homes, churches and communities.

Can you just imagine a powerful flood of revival washing through our churches and out into our communities?! Hallelujah!

I have created a daily journal, easy to download and print, which we can use each day. Included in this printable are twelve scripture based prayer prompts or ways you can pray for your church family. Included with each of these prayer prompts, is a short prayer starter and plenty of space for you to journal your personal prayer. When praying, be specific for your church, name names, mention specific needs. Personalize the given scriptures inserting names and circumstances.

Let’s plant the seeds for revival in the fields of prayer.

Share these scripture prayer prompts with others in your church and pray together. Set aside a specific time to pray each day and have everyone focus on the same daily topic. Then after 12 days of Praying For Your Church Family, begin again; use the same prayer prompts or add a few more of your own.

Prayer is not reserved for a special occasion or meant to be just a way to get what we want.

It is a conversation with our Heavenly Father who seeks relationship with each of us. So let these 12 days of prayer be a catalyst to grow your prayer life and a deeper relationship with the Almighty God.

Dear Lord, we thank You that we can come directly to You with our needs. It is more than I can comprehend that You want to have a personal relationship with each of us. Thank You for hearing our prayers. Help guide our hearts to pray for the needs of our churches and our own church families.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
